I'll be reading and chatting with Seattle writer, doula, and fisherman Piper Lane, who herself hails from Homer, Alaska. She has a first novel-in-progress, Standing in the Bight, and has been a Hugo House Fellow and Hedgebrook resident. The event is free, but you should register beforehand. You can do that here.
In conversation with Jane Flett, whose fiction has been appeared on BBC Radio 4, in Electric Literature, and awarded the Berlin Senate Award for non-German literature and the Scottish Book Trust New Writer Award. After the brief reading there will be a book signing (books provided by Curious Fox) followed by drinks and dancing.
